20. How does your web design process work?

Our mission is to build the best, most cost-effective website for your business. A professionally built website can promote your products and services, enhance your image and generate sales. With that in mind, we’ll carefully research your business needs and plan a strategy to create the ideal web solution.

21. Do you provide an initial consultation?

All our services begin with a free initial consultation to determine your requirements. Our experienced business analysts work closely with you to determine your exact needs and desires—and will complete a detailed design worksheet itemizing all your requirements. This helps us gather information about your company, services, audience, purpose, site goals and more. The consultation step is very important, because we’re committed to providing you with solutions that will work for you! We prefer that you call, so we can provide you with faster service, but emails are OK, too.

22. What about proposals and paperwork?

After you’re confident we’ve addressed all your ideas, questions and requirements, we’ll provide specific recommendations for your project. There are many different ways to meet your specific needs. We explain these options with the proposed pricing to deliver them. Once you agree, you receive a formal proposal that contains all of the work you require, prices/payment schedule and a contract.

23. What is your payment schedule?

We require a 50% deposit to start your work. After you agree, we agree and paperwork is signed and faxed or mailed to us, we start the actual design process. If you don’t understand the smallest of points at this step, please just ask for clarification! Miscommunication and false expectations do NOT move the design process forward in a productive manner. At ANY time, you can contact us with concerns, questions or comments about your project.

24. Who collects the content?

You provide us with the text and any other content for your website, along with any specific pictures you’d like. We can provide you with access to thousands of royalty-free stock photos. We also offer optional professional copywriting services—just call and ask!

25. How does design selection and finalization work?

After the initial mock-up is designed, you’ll review it on our servers. We send you a web link to view the mock-up and ask if you would like any changes. You request revisions as necessary, and then you provide final approval.

26. What is the web development process?

After receiving your final approval on the mock-up, we’ll then begin building the website and web pages, incorporating the design and all of the content that you provide. Again, we also provide professional copywriting services as needed.

27. What about pre-launch evaluation?

After the site is built, you’ll be able to view all pages to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. You’ll submit any desired changes to the copy and then give final approval before the site goes live.

28. How does launching the website work?

After final approval and payment has been received, your website will be published on your domain—live for the entire world to see! We can also register your domain name and host your website, so you don’t need to worry about technical aspects of your website. We become your one-stop shop for your complete web presence.

29. Do you provide ongoing support?

After your website is launched, we’ll work with you to establish a regular review and maintenance schedule to accommodate your requests, user feedback, system upgrades and any new or emerging web technologies.

30. My website targets a serious and mature audience. Can you make clean HTML and non-Flash corporate websites?

Sure! In fact, we design great professional websites. We have experience in working with clients from different fields, and we understand their different tastes. Our portfolio is just a partial list of our clients. If you didn’t find examples of sites you’re looking for, please email us or call us, and we can give you more examples.

31. What is your typical turnaround time?

Due to the high level of custom work and the collaborative process involved in each website we build, it’s difficult to predict an exact turnaround time. We work together with you to complete your web design project in a timely manner. We agree to work expeditiously, but delays can occur if any milestone that requires your action—such as approving design mock-ups or web design changes—is not acknowledged on time. As an example, a five-page website can be finished anywhere from one to six weeks after we’ve received all content and feedback from you. It’s a safe estimate to expect at least a month for your project, though it could be much quicker or slower, depending on your input. Ask your sales agent or project manager for more information. We also offer an express service for an additional fee to expedite your project. Always remember that we can only work as fast as you allow us; turnaround time is client-dependent. If content is provided sooner, initial and ongoing instructions are clear and revisions requested are reasonable, turnaround time can be significantly decreased. On the other hand, it could drastically increase due to client inaction, delayed mock-up approvals, back-and-forth change requests, etc.

32. Can you host our website and register our domain name?

Yes; we would love to! We charge a low $14.95 monthly fee for web hosting. Domain Names are $10/year. We provide you with custom email accounts and a fantastic control panel to check your web visitor stats, manage your files, etc.

33. Can I use my existing website address if I host with you?

Yes; we can easily help you retain your old domain name on our servers—or register a new one for you.

34. After you have designed our website, can we easily manage it ourselves?

When we’re done constructing your new website, you’ll own it and have full access to it. You’ll be able to make any changes to the site if you have any web-editing knowledge. You can also opt for an editable website package. This way, you can log in to easily make changes to any non-Flash content in your site any time you want.  Just make sure you let us know you’d like this option before you sign up. Thirdly, we offer a webmaster service if you’d like us to manage your new site for you. This is pre-paid, discounted update work to your site—30 hours of work for only $300, which saves you $150!

35. What input do you need from us?

We need your support to finish the website in a timely manner to keep costs down. For this to happen, we expect you to give us content on time and that all milestones that require your action—such as approving design mock-ups or web design changes—be acknowledged on time.

36. Will we get a chance to review and suggest modifications to the website before it is launched?

Of course! In fact, we’ll work with you closely to create the website based on your input. We’re committed to making you happy.

37. I’m a small, home-based business; do you work with individuals?

Yes; we work with big and small businesses, corporations, professionals, home business owners, startups and even individuals.

38. What are your Business Hours?

We work 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST Monday to Friday and 10:00 AM to 4:00PM EST on Saturdays. For your convenience, we have live customer service 24/7.
